Dr. Prabhat Sood​

Dr. Prabhat Sood is Consultant Physician in General Internal Medicine, Integrated Sexual Health and HIV Medicine since 2004. Dr Sood has Certificate of Specialist Training in Genitourinary and HIV Medicine from Edinburgh. He is Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians Edinburgh. He has MD in General Internal Medicine from prestigious PGIMER, Diploma in Genitourinary, Psychosexual, Tropical and Travel Medicine and has Masters in Medical Management. He has special interest in Forensic, Occupational , Aviation and Space Medicine. He is Expert witness for forensic medicine, sexual offences, genito-urinary medicine and HIV medicine. He worked as Forensic Medical Examiner for most constabularies in the Country and was Class 1 Aviation Medical Examiner approved by CAA. Dr Sood worked as Consultant in GUM/ HIV in NHS and has been in private practice since 2004.He works as Consultant Physician in General Internal Medicine with County Hospital, Stafford. He has keen interest in medical teaching and has been MRCP PACES Examiner for over 15 years. He is Section 12 approved by the Home Office. Dr Sood has a number of publications in national and international journals. He was General Secretary of West Midlands GUM Consultant Committee and BIDA Dudley and Kidderminster Branch.
